Can you guess where this picture was taken? If you said a McDonald’s you are correct! This picture was taken at a McDonald’s in Belgium when I was there in 2003. They had many of the same things on the menu that you would see here. Instead of the Dollar Menu, they had the Euro Menu. There were some things on those menus that were unusual like a fruit cup, a salmon sandwich, a ground lamb sandwich. Each country tends to have things that are more popular in that country, a well as your typical 1/4 Pounder, McNuggets, etc.

wow there is a mcdonalds in belgium?!??!?! how did you find that picture????? i wonder witch one taste’s better but for now i’ll stick with our mcdonalds

There seems to be a Mcdonalds in every country! In canada i saw two, and my sixth grade teacher as a picture of on her students who went to either japan or china and they were standing outside a Mcdonalds.

Dominique, what a great question! To be honest, I really don’t like McDonalds. I took the picture because I knew my students would LOVE to know that there was a McDonalds right where I stayed in Belgium. I thought it would be neat to look at a place everyone is familiar with but see how things are different.
Nalya, I would say the prices are close to what they are here. I don’t think they inflated the prices just because it’s Europe. INstead of the Dollar Menu, they have the Euro Menu and I saw things on that like they have in the McDonalds here.

YEAHHH!! Mc Donald’s is awesome!! I wonder if there’s one everywhere……. We’ll all this talk about food is making me hungry! and Ms.Watson, GASP! I know that quite a few people do not like mcd but isn’t there anything, that you like there???? Though it’s ok if yah don’t, cause I myself am more of a Wendy’s girl myself. I guess im being very, ummm, what’s the word…. Oh yeah Hypocritical. Which makes me wonder why that person named it that Oooppp’s, i’m getting of topic. Sorry. Though I am curious… Does Mc Donald’s have a differnt name in Frace?

No, McDonald’s is still McDonald’s but they sometimes say McDo. I do enjoy an occasional chocolate shake from McDonald’s. Oh maybe I’lll have one today!!

When i went to Canda there was a McDonald’s there, and it had the same things as we have here im America. This McDonald’s also had a Euro menu. And when u give them American money , they give you back Canadian money ! its was really cool !
