Grading Policy
All work must be your own, not copied from another person, a book or a website. Plagiarism a serious offense and will be taken seriously in this class. If you allow someone to copy your work, you are breaking the rules by helping someone plagiarize and will face the same consequences. Turn in work that is your own!
What do you need for class?
1) a pencil or pen
2) a binder or folder for all of your French materials
3) any homework that is due
What is the grading policy?
Grades: Student grades are composed of homework, classwork, participation, quizzes and projects.
participation:
* 20% of the total grade
* points are earned in class by:
- actively answering and asking questions during class
- making connections to previously learned information
- commenting on our class blog at least 5 times each trimester
homework and classwork:
* 40% of the total grade
* graded on a scale of 0-10
* should be resubmitted until it is at least an 8
* may be turned in late without loss of credit
* must be your own work, not copied from a computer or a friend
quizzes and projects:
* 40% of the total grade
* must be your own work
* may NOT be retaken or resubmitted
* must be made up within two weeks of an absence
